Hunts take place in game units 43, 44, 48 and 49. These are true back country big game hunts conducted from spike camps reached only by horseback. The camps include the finest tents, wood burning stoves, cots and general amenities found in the Rockies.
These hunts are very physically demanding and your odds of success depend directly on your level of fitness and desire. You can be sure that your guides and wranglers will do everything in their power to assist you on your way to fulfilling your big game dreams but the success of your hunt will largely depend on you.

Hunt pricing includes:
Guide services, meals, lodging and transportation during your hunt, caping/quartering of your animal.
Hunter responsibilities:
License/tag fees, gratuities, taxidermy/meat processing fees, transportation to/from Idaho, Idaho state sales tax, 3% US Forest Service use tax.
Elk and Deer License Information
- Over the counter either sex archery elk licenses are valid in units 43, 48 and 49.
- Over the counter spike elk any weapon licenses are valid in units 43, 44 and 48.
- All any weapon bull elk licenses in units 43, 44, 48 and 49 are limited draw.
- Over the counter archery and rifle deer licenses are valid in units 43, 48 and 49.
- All deer licenses in unit 44 are limited draw.
