In the last ten years Utah has produced more Boone and Crockett Elk (100) than any other state in the country. These highly coveted elk tags ae very difficult to draw, but for those lucky enough to pull one, rest assured you are in for the thrill of a lifetime.

In addition to trophy elk hunts, Utah offers hunters high quality deer, antelope, mountain lion and and bear hunting as well. Sheep, bison and goat tags are near impossible to draw and some years are not available to non-resident hunters.

Hunt Pricing Includes:

Two days of scouting prior to your hunt. A guided hunt with our hand picked guides. Our guides specialize in big game hunting. They are knowledgeable on the units and the animals they pursue. Our staff will cape out your animal and transport it to the nearest taxidermist and meat processor.

Hunter Responsibilities: 

1-Transportation to the hunting location. In most cases nonresident hunters will want to rent a car from Salt Lake International Airport to get to the hotel or hunting location.

5-Meat processing

Note: We will help the client make these arrangements. We will contact a taxidermist and a meat processor prior to the hunt for our clients convenience.

Convenience Package:

The hunter can purchase a convenience package for their hunt. We will take care of food and lodging at the following rates:

9 day hunt $2,500.

7 day hunt $2,200.

5 day hunt $1,800.

The hunter will be responsible for transportation to the hunting area and their alocholic beverages. If a mountain camp is preferred a camp host will be included. Note: With the convenience package hunters are responsible for their meat processing and taxidermy costs.

Shuttle:

We will shuttle the hunter to the hunting area round trip from the Salt Lake City International Airport, or the Cedar City Airport for $500.

Hunters Physical Condition: We encourage our hunters to be in the best physical shape possible when hunting with us. Hunters are encouraged to get a complete physical 90 days prior to their hunt beginning. Hunting in Utah can be a physical sport. Hunters

Equipment:

We recommend our hunters arrive with the best safety and hunting equipment possible. The mountains are steep and rocky. The weather conditions can change rapidly. Hunters need to prepare for all types of weather during their hunt. Good footwear is required while on your hunt with us. Gator and wool pants are recommended for cougar hunters. The altitude of Utah's mountains can be between 6,000 - 13,000 feet above sea level. We recommend hunters have a Garmin Rhino 520/530 GPS radio in their equipment with extra batteries. If the hunter does not have a Rhino Radio we recommend the hunter have a Cell Phone or Satelite Phone as well as a GPS Device with extra batteries. It is also a good idea to have a Motorola 1 watt radio with extra batteries All hunters should have a day backpack equipped with a survival kit and basic first aid supplies. We recommend the Blacks Creek backpacks to our clients. Rain gear is recommended.

Cougar Hunts: Auction or Limited Entry Cougar Tags: $3,500 hunt price to book your 5 day hunt. This hunt is a guaranteed cat in a tree. If the hunter chooses not to harvest a cat the hunt will continue for the remaining hunt days, however, it is considered a successful hunt for purpose of payment. If the hunter does not have the opportunity to harvest a mature cat on the hunt we will refund the hunter $1,000 of their hunt price or offer the hunter 2 additional hunting days in good cougar hunting conditions.

Harvest Objective Cougar Tags: $3,500 hunt price to book your 5 day hunt. This hunt is a guaranteed cat in a tree. If the hunter passes up the opportunity to harvest a cat, the hunt will continue for the remaining hunt days. However, the hunt is considered a successful hunt for purpose of payment. If the hunter does not have the opportunity to harvest a mature cat on the hunt we will refund the hunter $1,000 of their hunt price or offer the hunter 2 additional hunting days in good cougar hunting conditions.

Deposit and Payment: We require a 50% non-refundable deposit when booking any big game hunt. The balance is due 30 days prior to the hunt beginning. On Cougar Hunts we require a total hunt payment. Auction,limited entry and harvest objective cougar tags are guaranteed. Additional Hunt

Options:

Spotter: Additional spotter during the hunt at $300 per day.

Guests: Non-hunting companion at $100 day, three day minimum. Call us for details. We do our best to accommodate our client's family and friends. Our client's overall hunting experience is important to us.

Fair Chase: High Top Outfitters hunts are all fair chase hunts in Utah. We hunt public land. There are no high fences on our hunts.
