Northern Ontario is home to excellent fall black bear hunting. Hunts take place on a 600 sq. kilometer management area and hunters will stay with the outfitter at his home.

Black Bear: Archery/rifle, 5 day hunt $1,200

 

Hunt Pricing Includes:

Guide service, transportation during hunt, lodging during hunt, skinning and quartering of your animal and active bait stands.

Hunters are responsible for:

Hunting license, Food, transportation to/from camp, sales tax, meat processing and taxidermy fees.

Additional Notes on Hunting in Ontario

  • Passports are required for travel to/from Canada
  • Non-resident hunters should purchase an Ontario Outdoors card for $9.68. This card allows the outfitter to purchase licenses on your behalf. Call 1-800-387-7011 for information on obtaining your card.
  • Non-resident black bear license is $219.01
  • US residents transporting firearms into Ontario must complete Non-resident Firearms Declaration Form CAFC 909.  Note: This form is not required for transporting bows into Ontario.
  • US residents returning to the US with firearms must complete US Customs Form 4457. Note: This form is required for transporting bows back to the US.
  • US residents transporting meat or hides from black bears into the US from Ontario must obtain an Ontario Provincial Export Permit. Export permits are $35 and the outfitter will help you secure them.
